Every year on the first weekend in August NC has a tax free weekend. During these days you don't pay sales tax on clothes, school supplies, some sporting equipment, computers, etc. It is supposed to help you get ready for school. We went and got Z his school clothes and some school supplies. I had never heard of this and I thought is was such a good idea. How cool is that?

utah would probably go broke if they did this!
They have that here too. I love it! I did all my back to school shopping online and still had no tax. It was great! Here it's almost as crazy as shopping before Christmas, so I didn't want to go out and fight the crowds.
that's super cool! i love z's pioneer get-up! so adorable. i miss you.
